Imagine That Expeditions Tip of the Week:

Flows have leveled and the fishing has been incredible since the middle of last week. It is prime time and should continue to fish good going forward. We are finding great numbers of very high quality fish each day over the last week. Give us a call to get out on the water with us and experience the incredible fishing.

Hatches: Midges, BWOs, PMDs, Caddis, Stones

Best Time to Fish: It’s been productive throughout the day

Best Stretch: Green River Lakes (Forest) down to Daniel Junction

Best Access: Slate Creek (tailwater stretch), Bridger-Teton Forest ( Forest section)

GREEN RIVER:

Flow Rate:

  • Warren Bridge (1350 CFS)

  • La Barge ( 3860 CFS)

Water Clarity: A little Off Color

Water Temp: High 40s to low 50s

5 Day Outlook: It’s Prime time. Big fish in good numbers are being found each day by our guides.

NEW FORK RIVER:

Flow Rate:

  • Big Piney (2310 CFS)

Water Clarity: Good to little off color

Water Temp: Mid 40s to low 50s

5 Day Outlook: It should continue to fish great over the next week.

GREEN RIVER BELOW LAKE FONTENELLE (TAILWATER SECTION):

Flow Rate: Below Fontenelle Dam (1150 CFS)

Water Clarity: Good

Water Temp: 52

5 Day Outlook: No planned dam release change over the next few days.
