The streamer fishing has been solid, and should continue with runoff approaching fast.

Hatches: Midges, BWOs, other small mayflies. Not consistent at the moment.

Best Time to Fish: Fishing has been good at all times of the day the past few weeks.

GREEN RIVER:

Flow Rate:

  • Warren Bridge (420 CFS)

  • La Barge ( 1190 CFS)

Water Clarity: Great visibility

Water Temp: High 40s to low 50s

5 Day Outlook: Expect the flows to bump and the water clarity to dirty up over the next week.

NEW FORK RIVER:

Flow Rate:

  • Big Piney (628 CFS)

Water Clarity: Great visibility

Water Temp: Mid 40s to low 50s

5 Day Outlook: Expect the flow rates to increase, and the water clarity to dirty up over the next week.

GREEN RIVER BELOW LAKE FONTENELLE (TAILWATER SECTION):

Flow Rate: Below Fontenelle Dam (1900 CFS)

Water Clarity: Excellent

Water Temp: 52

5 Day Outlook: No planned dam release change over the next few days. This is a great option for the next few days with runoff coming soon on the upper Green river.
