July 6th, 2026 Fishing Outlook & Conditions
July is here and the fishing is going strong! Flows on the Green and New Fork rivers are starting to drop, and the dry fly conditions are GREAT! Head hunting action has been picking up with mayfly hatches increasing. Hoppers are starting to show up, and still some stoneflies being seen daily by our guides. It is also mousing season for those of you looking for that night fishing experience! We have some dates available this month. Give us a call to get on the books!

5 Day Outlook: Mayfly hatches are popping. Flows should hold steady in the 800s this week. It’s a great time to be head hunting trophy Browns on the Green!

Water Temp: low- high 50s
5 Day Outlook: Flows should hold around 700-800 cfs this week. Mayflies, Caddis, and Stone hatches are being seen daily by our guides. Big fish are showing themselves consistently and giving great head hunting opportunities. This is one of our favorite times of the year to be fishing the New Fork!

5 Day Outlook: No planned dam release change over the next few days. Hatches are becoming more and more prolific. Flow rate should stay consistent over the next week.
